Subject says it all. Based on the rare circumstances of my particular diagnoses, and what provides the best chances for longevity and quality of life during my time, the Blue Cross Blue Shield appeals board has authorized proton radiation treatment as an exception to the standards in my case.
Next stop…Six weeks in Boston.
Stay tuned…

The call went well. I don’t believe anyone on that call could deny what the best course of medical treatment action is.
It more appears to be about what exactly the fine print on my health care policy defines as “best possible treatment”. They call those “loopholes” behind closed doors.
Standby…more later.

Please send all good vibes you can muster starting at 11:00 am EST. We have our final appeal hearing to be approved by Blue Cross to get proton radiation therapy instead of the photon therapy which can cause much more collateral damage to my good brain cells. Our teams are assembled, and were up against paper pushers and check writers. Our team consists of brain surgeons, oncology doctors, radiation experts, all assembled by the best personal executive assistant any man could hope for…Mrs. Kasey L. Bromee. She amazes me hourly. Thank you my dear wife, for taking care of me in this time of chaos and confusion.
Send vibes!!!!!
