Tests, tests, and more tests

In this blog category I’ll attempt to share what has happened, what findings we get, and how we’ll plan to proceed.  Theres already so much.  Don’t feel like writing it out just yet.

The Beginning

December 31st, 2010

On December 5th, 2010 I was diagnosed with a Grade III (aka anaplastic) Oligoastrocytoma in the front left lobe of the region of my brain where my speech, fine motor skills, and the emotional “hot spot” generally like to live and be left alone so they can do thier jobs.  For reference, a ping pong ball is approximmately 33.5 cc.  So this ill-tempered and offensive 27 cc uninvited and unwelcome house guest is about 80% of a ping pong ball.  For now. Based on the biopsy results, about 10% of the brain tissue sample they pulled out has a penchant for replicating itself just for fun. I’ve been focusing my other brain parts to get the evil-doers to consider changing their ways.
