Dog Tired

What surprises me is that I pictured just having a general lack of energy.  Lay on the sofa.  Watch Brady Bunch reruns.  Or maybe some Gilligan’s Island.  But as it turns out it’s really the constant desire to sleep.  Which leads to feeling guilty about not accomplishing anything.

Although I am up every morning at 5am for my 1 hour cardio/weight routine, and then off to proton therapy, I am totally ready for nap-time at like 11am.  Then I sleep until the afternoon.  Then something to eat and maybe a movie.  Then bedtime.  Lather.  Rinse.  Repeat.  Well, I suppose this is it for the next several weeks.  The life of an Oligoastrocytoma owner.

Woop!  Look at the time.  Wayyy past my nap-time!

“Nap Time”

Very sleepy afternoon
Pooh Bear takes a nap.
He dreams of things
with whistles and wings
that go “rap-a-tap-tap, a-tap-tap.”

    Rob,
It was really nice to see you at Joe Val and to talk to you. The JB website looks really good. We are very appreciative of all that you are doing to help. It really is making a big difference.

Well, get rested up as you know come June….there will be little sleep for you. With all that you are bringing to JB. Can’t wait to see you there.

Take care and we’ll keep you in our prayers.

Think of it as your little body telling you – need to rest to put up the good fight! BTW 28 episodes of Three Stooges on Hulu!

It’s ‘recharge your batteries’ time….and time well-spent. Just listen to your body and get all that energy restored.

Rob – just in case you need someone to keep you on schedule for your morning workout, I can be there next weekend or the following one (3/12 or 3/19). You know what a hard task master I can be….lol.

Think of it as a good sign…that fatigue and lack of energy you feel is your body’s response to being very busy killing and eliminating those bad cells! I have heard it does zap your energy and makes you tired. Keep killing off those little buggers! 🙂
